Fun fact about one of the track names: Denn Punk always takes a nap (dutje in Dutch) before he goes to a gig or club night. He calls it his Disco Dutje…

The name of the EP is based on a slip of the tongue: “(we are not a) philanthropic institution” became “tropical institution” – hence the perfect name for a summer EP.
